• Fuddrucker's have submitted plans for review for a new Missouri City location at 5814 Hwy 6, in the end space, next to Spec's Liquor where LA Fitness is also located.
• 59 Diner has opened at 6302 Hwy 6 in the Midtown Shopping Center, which is located just past Glenn Lakes on Hwy 6. They took the lease space that was previously occupied by the Kirvin's American Grill.
• 9’ers Grill will be constructing a new restaurant where Spring Creek BBQ and American First National Bank are located on Hwy 6 near Colonial Lakes.
• 4 buildings at the Graystone Business Park on Gessner have been sold or leased to Fort Bend Corp., MP Ambulance, ChemTech and Rental Power
• Lufkin Automation recently had a groundbreaking ceremony for their new 40,000 sf headquarters building they are constructing in Lakeview Business Park and expected to open late 4th quarter 2010.
• Beltway Business Park on Gessner also has two new tenants. Professional Packaging has leased 58,000 sf for their repackaging of Frito Lay products. Charming Charlie has lease 144,000 sf for warehouse and distribution of products for their Southeast Texas retail stores.
• Construction will start soon on a new 55-bed La Quinta Inn that will be located on Williamsburg Ln. near Township Ln.
• Autumn Leaves Riverstone, a new Alzheimer’s facility, is currently under construction at 20313 S. University.
• Wallace Bajalli Development will break ground in May for the first of several projects at Hampton Pointe which is located at Hampton Dr. and FM1092. They are planning on having an independent living, assisted living, a skilled nursing facility and age restricted patio homes as part of their overall project.
• Excel Urgent Care has opened at 6840 Hwy 6. They are a fully equipped medical facility to handle emergencies and when you need to see a doctor but cannot get an immediate appointment with your regular physician.
