James (Mac) MacNaughton, the developer or "Father of Quail Valley" is pictured here with man's best friend and the Q. V. "Rec Center" Historical Marker coordinated by Q. V. Proud Hotline Chair Carolyn Bowden and funded by the Exchange Club of Quail Valley. It depicts the old "Rec Center" on Cypress Point as it once stood, as well as photos of the Elkins State Playoff Team. It celebrates all those volunteer parents, coaches and youngsters who learned sportsmanship and had fun competing in sports within the old "Rec Center" or on the Little League Fields adjacent to it!
