![]() Q.V. Proud The sponsor of this website Quail Valley Proud is this community's "eyes and ears", it's liaison to the city, fire and police departments and other governmental bodies. Q.V. Proud, a neighborhood association- not a homeowner's association, was formed in 1990 and is staffed completely by resident volunteers. This organization sponsors various beautification projects throughout the neighborhood and funds Crime Watch teams. It also supports a community hotline for questions, concerns and complaints. The hotline helps by passing on to the HOAs and the City Inspector any reported deed restrictions or city code violations. With the publishing expertise of the Ft. Bend Star, Proud puts out a publication, "Around the Valley" which is filled with news on its residents, students and community activities. You can find it on your lawn in a plastic bag the first Wednesday in each month. On the last two pages is the QV Proud HOTLINE. This is a question and answer column filled with "Frequently Asked Questions" for the new resident and also what happened the previous 30 days in our area. Quail Valley Proud, Quail Valley Fund and Quail Valley Country Club work hand-in-hand as evidenced by the corner sign project at Cartwright and FM 1092 which gave this neighborhood, developed in 1969, a "sense of arrival", amidst the new developments cropping up all around them. New monuments are currently being designed and built for major entrances into Quail Valley by Quail Valley Fund, the largest homeowner's association in Quail Valley subdivision. Quail Valley Proud holds its regular monthly meeting the second Wednesday of each month at Quail Valley Country Club. The lunch is Dutch treat/no host and anyone with an item to include on the agenda or wanting more information about Q.V. Proud should call the Hotline at 281-438-4714 or email us at: hotline@quailvalleyproud.com or QVProud@aol.com. |
