Memorial Day Kids Bike, Wagon and Dog Parade (23 May 2026)

Get ready to roll, ride, and celebrate at our Annual Memorial Day Kids Bike, Wagon & Dog Parade on Saturday, May 23 at 10:00 AM at the Quail Valley Golf Club parking lot by the putting green!

⭐ Check-in begins at 9:30 AM, so come early to deck out your wheels in red, white, and blue! Decorate your bike, wagon, stroller, scooter, dog, or even your golf cart — the more patriotic flair, the better!

The parade will follow our traditional route, traveling from the Golf Club to the Cottages and back, led by a Missouri City fire truck! Be sure to arrive early for photo ops with the fire truck and our hometown public safety heroes.

Put on your stars and stripes, wave your flags, and bring your biggest smiles as we celebrate Memorial Day together as a community. Let’s make it a morning full of pride, laughter, and patriotic spirit!

Don’t forget your annual commemorative shirt! OOPS! The deadline was May 4. We can not order any more shirts.

Many residents have built an impressive collection over the years — don’t miss this year’s edition!

Kids 12 and under and members: Free
Non Member Adult shirts & non-member shirts: $15 each (2xl or 3xl will be $17)

An invoice for t-shirts will be sent after registration is complete. Shirts will not be ordered until payment is received.

Buffet Menu

We are preselling the buffet as you register. The buffet for children 12 and under is XXXX and the adult buffet is XXXX. When registering, if are not purchasing a "children buffet", just leave the field blank. It will not accept a zero.

Guests – We ask that you register only those in your household. There is a maximum limit of 5 guests, which with you would be 6 in total.

However, if your friends live in Quail Valley, we will ask that they are members to attend the event. You can register them now but ask them to join before or at the event.

Games – we have a number of wonderful sponsors signed up for our games this year. In order to make it fair for all involved, we ask that each person only play one card.

Wait List – If we fill the room to capacity, there will be a waitlist.

Independence Day Celebration (3 Jul 2026)

This year our event will be on Friday, July 3 from 7 – 9 PM, with fireworks at approximately 9:15. The event is free for residents of Quail Valley, but registration is required for attendance.

Our primary sponsor is the Quail Valley Fund – our HOA . Without support from our HOA we would not be able to have this event. They have been our primary sponsor since its inception, and we are grateful for their support.

We are grateful for all of the support of these local businesses, Quail Valley Golf Club, the staff and this wonderful community!

The event starts at 7PM behind Quail Valley Golf Club. Check in will be on the corner by the Pro Shop. Please remember to stop by for some goodies and to let us know you are ready to have fun. Check in opens at 6:45.

There will be food and drinks for sale by the Golf Club. We will have LIVE MUSIC, a rock wall, other games, giant connect 4 and temporary tattoos.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase from the Golf Club. Please do not bring any personal coolers or food. The Golf Club is gracious enough to let us use their facilities for events such as this, and we need to show our support by patronizing them. Let’s do our part as neighbors and support them. They will be offering the following items:

We will raffle off a bowl full of lottery tickets. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Never know how much you could win with those scratch offs!! You must be present to win. The winning ticket will be pulled just before the fireworks begin.

We will be selling our specially designed 250th Anniversary Independence Days shirts for $__ and our remaining patriotic Memorial Day shirts at $5 each.

Carrey's Italian Ice will be there to help you beat the heat. Members will be given a ticket for a free treat (up to 5 per membership), but they also will be selling their wonderful flavors to others.

We are also still looking for a few adult volunteers for this event. Please email events@quailvalleyproud.com if you are interested in helping.

The fireworks display will start around 9:15 PM and should last around 15 minutes. Please make sure you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to claim your spot.

Remember to be good stewards and collect your trash at the end of the night.
